Slide behind the wheel of the CLA and it’s instantly apparent – this is a vehicle that defies convention. Whether it’s the tablet display or the jet turbine-style air vents, the cabin is home to an array of distinctive design elements that underscore the car’s unique character.

Motorsport is a clear source of inspiration, with sports seats as standard and striking details such as the twin-tube instrument cluster. The AMG Sport model goes further still with a sports steering wheel with flattened lower section and sports pedals with rubber studs.
Materials and finishes are exceptional throughout, with a choice of ARTICO leather/cloth and black ARTICO leather/DINAMICA microfibre upholsteries and premium quality trim elements such as nappa leather and aluminium.

Uncompromising performance.

The CLA offers a range of powerful yet efficient four-cylinder engines, including the CLA 220 d and the petrol-driven CLA 180. Coupled with the car’s world-beating aerodynamic performance, both offer outstanding performance and economy.

The CLA 220 d is paired with 7G-DCT 7-speed automatic transmission and can sprint from 0-62 mph in an impressive 7.7 seconds. Yet it’s still capable of returning up to 67.3 mpg combined with CO2 emissions as low as 109 g/km.

The CLA 180 can clock 0-62 mph in 9.0 seconds with the agile and responsive 6-speed manual transmission ensuring an engaging driving experience. CO2 emissions are as little as 122 g/km (auto) and on the combined cycle it returns up to 51.4 mpg.

Transmission depends on your choice of engine, but both the 7G-DCT 7-speed automatic box and the 6-speed manual offer razor-sharp reactions, summoning all the power you need, right when you need it.
